The Shed

Meet The Shed, Historic Downtown Sanford's premier little getaway. This charming 1910 bungalow has been lovingly kept and thoughtfully updated, and it is ready for whatever your trip calls for.

Bring your toys. There is room for bikes, trikes, golf carts, and small to mid size fishing boats. Gather around the fire pit with someone special, then stroll into town for dinner and drinks. Downtown Sanford has that rare Americana mix of old and new: try The Original Christo's or The Willow Tree Cafe, then work your way up the street through the local breweries and cocktail bars. If you love fishing, or just the feel of fresh water on your face, Lake Monroe is waiting.

Inside, The Shed has every comfort of home. A brand new, well appointed kitchen. A king bed dressed with a Purple luxury mattress. Washer and dryer, a walk in closet with real storage, two TVs, and plenty of dishes, towels, and linens. The living room sofa folds out to a full size bed, and the den invites you to settle in with a good book and a glass of wine. Out front, two white rocking chairs hold down the porch for your morning coffee.

Make it as social or as private as you like. Your host is a quick call or text away for a dining or entertainment tip, or you are welcome to simply disappear into the quiet. Either way, you are staying inside one of Central Florida's most walkable historic districts.
